We are delighted with our outstanding NAPLAN (National Assessment Program for Literacy and Numeracy) results this year. Our teachers and students worked very hard in preparing for this testing and we are all very proud with the results as set out below:
YEAR 3
- 76% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Reading
- 91% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Writing
- 71% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Spelling
- 76% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Grammar and Punctuation
- 89% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Numeracy
YEAR 5
- 77% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Reading
- 92% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Writing
- 79% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Spelling
- 75% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Grammar and Punctuation
- 77% of our students are above the National Minimum standard for Numeracy
NAPLAN provides invaluable evidence of students’ developing skills. Our teachers implement strategies to assist our students to perform to their very best during NAPLAN, including enhanced writing methods and numeracy straegies.
