Prep 2015 Enrolments Closing Soon

Due to our comprehensive learning programs, excellent facilities and very committed staff, Bundoora Primary School has seen a growth in enrolments over the past few years. Whilst there are no zoning issues for our school at present, parents are encouraged to enrol their child as early as possible. School tours are available with our Principal, Ms Lee Pollard, on request. We are currently receiving more than the usual number of prep enrolments, with several (previously known) enrolments still to come. If you are interested in enroling your child for prep next year, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Read more

Arty Farty Festival - A fantastic event!

We all felt such pride when the announcement was made that our school won "Most Colourful" with our contribution in the Arty Farty Parade on Sunday 23rd March. Our gorgeous Prep students have settled in comfortably and without complication. They have enjoyed spending time becoming familiar with their classroom teachers and making new friends in and around their classrooms. Our Year 5 and 6 students have taken on their responsibility as Prep Buddies beautifully and have spent many lunchtimes playing with them, as well as spending time in their classrooms enjoying activities together.    Read more

We are very confident that our School Captains, Connor & Alicia, will, together with our entire Student Leadership Team, lead their fellow students well during 2014. 2013 Scholarship of Excellence Awards

Bundoora Primary School once again celebrated excellence by awarding Bundoora Primary School Scholarship of Excellence Awards to a student from each teaching area. Our teachers and students pride themselves on displaying and celebrating our school values of Excellence, Respect, Resilience, Friendship & Cooperation throughout the school year. A total of 14 students have been commended for their commitment to learning, demonstrating outstanding behaviour and always striving to be the best that they can be. Mr Colin Brooks was invited to present our Scholarship recipients with their award, which consists of a certificate, an inscribed book, and a cash prize towards their education. New Uniform Items

New Uniform Items

We are very excited to announce that we have recently been undergoing processes with a view to updating some of our uniform items. After many discussions with our supplier and meetings within our uniform sub-committee, we are now in the final stages of completion. Within the next few weeks a uniform list will be sent home (and placed on our website) and our new uniform items will be on display. After School Chinese Classes

We are proud to offer an after school Chinese Program (Mandarin) commencing in Term 4, Thursday 17th October, 3.30-5.00pm. An introductory offer of $20 (to cover material costs) for Term 4 is payable to our office. Lessons will include hands-on activities, cooking, and interactive activities - a fun way to learn another language! An introductory fee of $20 for the term (to cover material costs) is payable to our office. Usual fee $100 per term. Classes commence 3.30pm and finish at 5.30 every Thursday in our School Library. Kindy Time sessions (Kindy Science, Kindy Creatures, Kindy Story Time, Kindy Sport & Kindy Music) are offered throughout the year to assist children to familiarise themselves in a school-type setting, with a view to raising to their confidence in an enjoyable, comfortable way.
