Our very own AFL star!!

We were so proud of our very own Physical Education teacher, the very talented & skilled Ms Lauren Arnell, as she took to the MCG in the AFL Women's Exhibition yesterday. Students have learnt from their sports lessons with Ms Arnell that fitness and health plays a big part in being happy and healthy. Our very own AFL star has worked hard to be where she is today, playing in a professional Women's AFL team and maintaining strong health & fitness. Read more

Bat Tennis Boys - Grand Finalists 2015!

Bat Tennis Boys - Grand Finalists 2015!

We are so very proud of our boys Bat Tennis Team who made it to the Grand Final during this year's Summer Interschool Sports Program. All of our Interschool Sports teams competed against neighbouring schools in our district and all of our participating students have learnt to further their skills in encouragement, resilience to keep trying, great sportsmanship and enjoyment of the games. Teams, consisting of Year 5, 6 and sometimes Year 4 students, competed in basketball, rounders, cricket, and bat tennis. Our boys Bat Tennis Team worked hard to practice their skills, but unfortunately didn't quite make enough points to win the grand final, going down 32 to 26. We are very proud of their efforts to make it to... Read more

Our Undercover area is complete!

Thank you to the generosity of our good friends Ray White Bundoora (who contributed $5,000 towards the total cost), our artificial grass has been installed and looks fantastic. No sooner had the workers from Bare Foot Grass removed the safety barrier were our students enjoying this fantastic area. As you can see from the photo, during the first recess break since completion our students comfortably sat together as they ate their morning snack. We are looking forward to being able to use this space for future family activities and events, as well as a shaded area for our physical education lessons during the warm summer months.   Read more
